Peter Woodhouse
PROJECT MANAGER / SAFETY OFFICER
How have unexpected skills or past experiences been valuable in your work with MEC?
The experience I’ve gained over 50 years in the building trades has been invaluable. I’ve learned much from all the mistakes I’ve made, and all the people and trades I’ve worked with. But the learning never stops. In a short time at MEC, I’ve gained new computer skills, worked with a team to locate and map an extensive underground drainage system, and am now working with engineers and a construction firm to save a dam and spillway from failing.
Fun fact about Peter
In the summer of 1980, while building a house in a remote corner of Maine, I cooked pancakes on a flat rock, over a fire, every morning, for my crew.
